The app is great but you defineatly have a lot of potential i was thinking that you could maybe transcribe some songs and put them on there and you could also make something where you can write down your own music.the only problem i found was in the time section YOU DONT HAVE ANY 7/8 BEATS!!!!! if you add that it would be great

Im a student in ur uncles class mr.ferrario and he told me to get this app so I did and I think its a great app if u just want to play along with a perticular beat but can u maybe put some videos on to show examples of how to play it like step-by-step videos plz thxs- Trevor

Several of the audio samples dont match the notation. Kinda wish I had kept my money.

Its good and has a lot of potential. Im still waiting for an update though... Some double bass beats would be cool too!

Really great app. Professionally made and well thought out. Intuitive. Creator has fantastic music/drum knowledge to be able to make a fine app like theDrumDictionary.

very nice app, good knowledge of various styles and rudiments. Hopefully in a future update will be the ability to vary the tempo of the drumming audio. A recommended tempo for set styles so a drummer can use the varied audio tempo to try to reach the suggested tempos. This would work well with the practice logs. One more suggestion would have it work for multiple users...drum students!

This would get 5 stars if I could control the example tempo.

Im a beginner drummer and its helpful to me. But I wish I could control the tempo speed. And the app is missing some notation

I can not believe I just paid for this! Where are the odd time signatures? How do you not have 5/8, 7/8, 11/4, 9/8???? I think this program is amazing but doesnt live up to the price tag.

New version crashes on startup. Tried hard reset and redownload. No go. Please fix. Original iPhone 3.1.3 Great app and thanks for the updates and support for old iOS. Update: WOW! Developer fixed this. And quickly. Nice update. For those that dont give 5 stars to this great app- look for what it is (great reference, example beats), not for what it doesnt have (tempo control). Thank you for the fix.

I like the app the musical notes are correct. But many of the audio files play the music wrong. Get new audio set to a metronome.. Decent app.

Im relatively new to drumming. this app is very useful to me, and i use it pretty much every day, every time i practice.

I rated this app a 5 because not only did the developer contact me in less than 24 hours, but the issue many are requesting- tempo adjustment- is being worked on as we speak & will be out with next update. There are other good apps out there as well, but adding tempo brings this up a level-it ahould be out with next update. As far as crashing, I have not had any problem with this. If you say you do, it must. I have found a reinstall will fix some issues. It also can be an ios issue or a carrier problem, i suggest contacting developer, if it is an issue, he may not be aware, but on my Apple 4s, with ios 6, it runs fine. thank you. This is a great app with a variety of patterns. What is missing, & very important to me, is the ability to increase or decrease tempo when listening to, or learning a rhythm. I am not great at reading & thats why slowing down would be so helpful. Is this possible, otherwise, everyone, it is a great app with many rhythms. Thank You

Great for, learning, warming up, and learning to read. The variable playback speeds are really putting my playing on the fast track thanks!

This app would be wonderful if it didnt stop every time your phone goes to sleep; I need longer than a minute at a time to practice. Really simple to fix, guys. Also, a metronome that can accelerate and decelerate over a selection of durations is something Id gladly pay an extra dollar for. But thats a want. I need the thing to stay on until I turn it off.

My timing has grown very solid since the last 6 mos when I got this app. Highly recommend

Why didnt I think of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice collection of beats. Great for practicing to to play along to. However, it wont keep playing in the background. You have to keep the app open. Just when I got the perfect time/beat for a tune, it just stops when I switch to OnSong to pull up the chart. Would be great if the app would keep playing in the background.
